3/1: Staples Season Ends At Regions

Sophomore Dan Staples was defeated by Nick Visicaro of Long Branch in the wrestleback semifinals to end Staples' season just one win shy of a Region medal.  For the season, Staples ended up with a 33-9 record and won the Haddon Heights Tournament championship, and 3rd place medals at the Neptune Classic and District 23 Tournament.

2/23: Bacon Wins District Gold!

Senior Kenny Bacon defeated Pt. Boro's Sean Brand in the 103-pound final to win the District 23 103-Pound Championship.  With the win, Bacon advances to Friday night's quarterfinal round of the 2008 Region 6 Tournament at the Ritacco Center in Toms River.

Sophomore Dan Staples also qualified for Regions by taking 3rd place at 152 pounds.  Staples will wrestle in Tuesday night's opening round at the Ritacco.
