Several starters return, and there will be a large number of newcomers, as the Fliers head into the 2018 season.

The strength of the lineup appears to be with the upperweight trio of senior SaintPhard Bellamy, the returning wins leader, and juniors Felipe Garcia and Chris Desopo, a 3rd place finisher in District 22 last season. They provide a strong nucleus for the Fliers to break in some new faces. Also back in the middle of the lineup are juniors Mickenna Church and Kevin Clohosey.

Three starters return in the lower half of the lineup, led by the lone senior of the group, Cairo Henderson-Stewart. Stewart, a District medal winner in 2016, provides a strong veteran presence. Junior Robbie Roberson and sophomore German Ponce are also back, and will be looking to reach the next level. Outside of that trio, there will be a lot of young faces that will get their chance to break into the lineup.

Neptune will be looking for their established wrestlers to have strong seasons and help the newcomers come along. The A-North slate is rough for a program with their numbers, and they make take some lumps there, but the goal will be to compete and get their wins against the similar sized non-divisional and non-conference foes on the schedule, while getting the younger, inexperienced wrestlers to keep improving as the season rolls on.
